On 15th of March, 2019, the Scientific Symposium “Contemporary microscopic techniques in imaging of biological matter” took place in the Polish Academy of Sciences Botanical Garden – Centre for Biological Diversity Conservation.

The organizers of the Symposium were Polish Academy of Sciences Botanical Garden – Centre for Biological Diversity Conservation and PhD Jagna Karcz – head of the Laboratory of Scanning Electron Microscopy at the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection of the University of Silesia.
The conference was attended by: Aleksandra Cybulska, Sylwia Grzelak, Aleksandra Kornacka and Anna Myczka.
As part of the Symposium, an outdoor photo exhibition entitled “The World of Nature Painted with Electrons” was also visited.
