Educational Workshops “The Clean Hands Academy”
3 December 2020

As part of the activities of disseminating science, employees of the Witold Stefanski Institute of Parasitology PAS, have organized workshops “Clean Hands Academy” for school children. The aim of the meetings is to spread and solidify proper hygiene habits in everyday life. As we all know, taking care of hygiene is very important from the early age. Previous editions of the Academy enjoyed the great interest of school groups, families with children and young people.

Due to the current epidemiological situation concerning COVID-19 outbreak in our country, in October this year we are planning to conduct a series of workshops for children from Warsaw primary schools.

It is scheduled to organize lessons during which children are going to learn: when and how to wash their hands properly, what are the bacteria and viruses, and how to take care of themselves and their loved ones by implementing simple rules. In the era of the pandemic that surrounded us, promoting such very important but also “childish” simple activities may significantly improve the daily operation of school children.

In order to participate in workshops classes and school groups will take part in an art contest for the best artwork that that fit in the slogan “Washing Hands – Fun Will Never End”.

We kindly invite Primary Schools to participate in the contest!
