On 27 and 28 September 2018 in Warsaw, the 4th International Conference for Veterinary Medicine Students took place. The conference was organized by the Scientific Circle of Veterinary Students at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

The conference was attended by: DVM  Katarzyna Filip and MSc Anna Myczka.

36 scientific reports were presented at the conference.

Our representatives presented two reports in the form of posters:

  • Katarzyna Filip Gross and histopathological lesions associated with the fatal infection of moose (Alces alces) with liver fluke Parafasciolopsis fasciolaemorpha (K. Filip, T.Huc, A. Demiaszkiewicz)
  • Anna Myczka Detection of Anaplasma sp. In tissues by molecular methods (A.W. Myczka, Z. Laskowski)

The Organizing Committee provided two prizes in each conference session. In the poster doctoral session, the first place was taken by the DVM Katarzyna Filip, and the second – MSc Anna Myczka.
